My personal conversion experience

Even if I grew up in a Christian family by born again parents, I wasnt a Christian. I was wavering between the Christian teaching of my family and the communist/atheist teaching of the public school. Because of that, as a teenager, I was very confused.  Many times I was ashamed in the public school by my communist teachers, who were pointing at me all the time as a bad example, because of being part of a Christian family. It was very hard for me to face that blame, because at that time I did not know God in a personal way. More that this, my atheist teachers were promising me all the future if I will not follow my parents to become a Christian. At age of 14 I got sick with a very serious hepatitis. Being in hospital, the doctors didnt have medicine at that time to treat me and they did have any hope for me. At that point I understood that no one in this world can give me life, except God, if He exists. I chose to pray and seek Him for the very first time in my life. In that situation I asked from Him just life and I promised Him that if He will give me life, I will dedicate it to Him. Very soon my health condition has changed for good and after a few days I went home, completely healed. This first experience with God has changed my attitude, my life and my actions. At that point I wasnt ashamed to be a Christian, I was ready to suffer and became eager to witness about my experience with God. Three years latter, I received the water baptism in the night time, in the river in a very secrete place in the middle of forest.  I am so thankful for my experience with God and I cannot forget that begging with Him
